Today, as the founder of Raid de Himalaya Expeditions, Aaryan leads self-drive 4×4 adventures across some of India's most challenging and breathtaking regions, including Ladakh, Spiti, Zanskar, Sach Pass, and Pangi Valley. His goal isn't just to take people to these places-it's to help them experience the mountains with respect, responsibility, and a spirit of exploration.
Born Among the Mountains
Growing up in the Himalayas meant adventure was part of everyday life.
While many dream of visiting the mountains, Aaryan was fortunate enough to call them home. The towering peaks, hidden trails, and untouched landscapes inspired him from an early age to explore beyond the familiar.
As the years passed, that curiosity transformed into a lifelong passion. Instead of simply traveling through the mountains, he wanted to help others experience their beauty in a meaningful way.
That vision eventually led to the creation of Raid de Himalaya Expeditions.

Weather conditions can change within minutes. Roads may disappear due to landslides, and logistics often become unpredictable in isolated areas.

Three Days That Changed Everything
One expedition, however, left a lasting impact.
During the Winter Spiti Expedition in February 2025, a massive landslide followed by continuous heavy snowfall completely cut off the region.
For three days, the team had:

No certainty about when the roads would reopen
In those moments, adventure became secondary.
Keeping everyone safe, managing limited resources, making calm decisions, and supporting one another became the only priorities.
The experience reinforced something Aaryan has always believed:
